Helping families create and strengthen a balanced bond with their dogs that leads to balanced homes. We bring real-world canine coaching directly to your home and neighborhood — transforming behavioral challenges where they actually start.
The Foundation of Change Begins with the Walk.
The most simple and important physical and mental activity for the human-dog relationship is a structured walk. This simple, yet profound activity is the foundation of a balanced bond and a balanced dog.
What is a structured walk?
A structured walk is a highly intentional, result-oriented training session designed to fulfill a dog's deepest biological and psychological needs. Grounded in canine behavior and dog psychology, this service stands completely apart from casual, self-guided neighborhood dog walking.
On a Balanced Bond structured walk, the goal is that the dog does not dictate the pace, pull on the leash, or practice reactive environmental behaviors. Instead, it is a dynamic coaching session where the handler guides the dog into a state of calm focus, impulse control, and cooperative movement. By prioritizing rhythm, momentum, and strict threshold boundaries, we transform the daily walk into a powerful tool for behavioral modification, decompression, and mental fulfillment.
For many dog owners, lack of available time prevents them from walking their dogs. For many others, this ritual is a struggle. Leash pulling and reactivity make this activity an unpleasant experience many avoid. At BBCC we provide structured walks in your neighborhood and we also coach you so you can master a structured walk. When you learn to master the walk, you establish a baseline of clear communication and a deep bond of mutual trust. Once that bond is secure, addressing unwanted behaviors and accomplishing your long-term training goals becomes fluid and natural. We don't just fix symptoms — we coach you to become the confident anchor your dog needs.

Working with Andres has been the best investment we've made for our 1 year old Lab puppy! With his help we've been able to have more calm and enjoyable walks without all the lunging and pulling, have taught her better recall, and we've learned how to keep her under control when answering the door or meeting new people and other dogs. Most of all, we now understand her needs better than before and know how to engage and respond to her.

The Mind Behind the Balanced Bond.
Hello! I'm Andres Silva, founder of Balanced Bond Canine Coaching. My mission is to help families foster balanced, healthy relationships with their dogs to bring peace and harmony into the home. From a young age, I was drawn to nature, long walks, and the power of the bond we share with our dogs. They keep us present, healthy, and grounded. I consider myself deeply fortunate to have shared my life with dogs across every chapter, and I'm passionate about helping other families experience that same connection.
We make our home in Windham, NH, with my wife, our three daughters, and our adopted shepherd-mix, Milo. Since April 2025, I've been enjoying the opportunity to volunteer at Salem Animal Rescue League in Salem, NH, walking dogs and cleaning their crates. A highly rewarding and humbling experience that keeps me going. Regarding my professional qualifications, I have received training from local specialists and recently obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Dog Training and Behavior from Cesar Millan at his Dog Psychology Center in California.
I'd love to help walk your dog(s) and assist you in building a balanced bond so that you can truly enjoy each other's company.
